Leveling Applicator
Description:
The leveling applicator applies ten parallel wet films with different thicknesses (250, 500, 1000, 2000, 4000 µm, each film thickness twice and side by side) at once. Thus you can see the leveling characteristics of the wet film.
For this the paint needs to be applied with the leveling applicator by hand or with an automatic film applicator on a flat substrate. Afterwards the substrate with the ten films has to be left horizontally for drying. Now it is determined which of the double applied films are leveling into each other and which are not.
